Auditions: Snake In The Grass (Closed)

Auditions for the Thespians production of Snake In The Grass by Alan Ayckbourn will be held at the Oakes workshop at 7.30pm on 22 September.

The production will run at the Lawrence Batley Theatre, main stage, from 10-14 May 2011.

Cast: three female

Annabel Chester, 50, was a successful married business woman, now divorced and her business collapsed.

Miriam Cester, 44, Annabel’s younger sister, eternally house-bound to her late father’s house.

Alice Moody, 40,  nurse for Annabel and Miriam’s father shortly before his death.

The play centres around two women who return to the house of their late father. It takes place in the garden of the Chesters’ family home, now neglected and run-down. Included in the scene is the edge of an overgrown tennis court and a summer house built over a disused well, both of which play important roles during the  play.
