THE ACTORS’ WORKSHOP
Improvisation as an acting skill (Part 1 – introduction)
September 4 2013 7.30 – 9.30
Oakes Mill
Improvisation (what is performed is created at the moment it is performed) is one of the basics for acting. Although we improvise constantly in everyday life we are not always so well practised in an acting context.
Directors want actors who can improvise as they are more open, creative, relaxed and spontaneous and improvisation can be an important part of the rehearsal process.
Join us for an introduction to improvisation and an evening of fun and frolics involving everyone!
