Huddersfield Thespians enter their centenary year of 2020 with two great opportunities for actors to audition for the final two plays of their centenary season.

Performance Dates: 21-25 April 2020

John Godber’s hilarious comedy follows three school pupils as they stage their own performance about a new, naive teacher.

The three actors play a number of roles, both students and teachers.
We are looking for one male and two female actors aged 18-25 (actual age NOT playing age.)
Auditions for this production will be on Wednesday 8 January 2020 at 7.15pm.

We are looking for the following:

Agnetha, an American Psychiatrist – playing age 40-50ish.
Nancy, an English Housewife & mother, working class – playing age 50ish.


Ralph, and English serial child killer, working class – playing age 40-55ish.

Either male or femalePrison Guard, English non-speaking, but essential – playing age 35-50ish
Auditions for this production will take place on Thursday 16 January 2020 at 7.15 pm, with a potential backup date of Thursday 23 January 2020 at 7.15 pm, if required.
